Announcements
Archbishop Basil
Our Beloved Metropolitan Archbishop Basil Myron Schott, O.F.M. fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, June 10. He was our Eparchy’s bishop prior to be elevated to the Metropolitan Archbishop position and had visited Indianapolis on a few occasions. In addition to requesting that the Divine Liturgy be offered for his intention at our parish, you may donate to a special memorial to Metropolitan Basil. The upcoming Eparchial Exhibit for the Strengthening of Marriage will be dedicated to his memory. Please send memorial donations to the Eparchy of Parma, 1900 Carlton Rd., Parma, OH 44134. The Eparchy will acknowledge the gifts; the Schott family and the Archeparchy of Pittsburgh will be informed of them, as well
June Healing Service
The Healing Service is scheduled this Wednesday, June 16. Come and get healed. God wants all of us to be healed through the Holy Spirit. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” John 3:2 “… for I am the Lord your God who heals you.” Exodus 15:26
Otpust Postponed
The Midwest Region Family Otpust at St. Michael’s Church in Merrillville, IN, scheduled for June 19-20, is postponed.
Fund Raising
Thanks to all who helped make the baked goods this week: Ellen & Elizabeth M., Al Z., Katie R., Pam, Marcus L., Bill F., Cyndi H., Danny E., and Richard M. We made 87 rolls (54 were nut), 12 pumpkin logs, and 8.5 dozen biscotti. There was a good group who learned how to make rolls for the first time. One of them could have been you! Consider it when the next bake day is announced. This week’s farmers market sales (all the markets had some rain): Stadium Village $159, City Market $78, Binford $43, Carmel $303.
