Events Calendar

  • The holy day of obligation for the Lord’s Ascension is Thursday,
  • The first of two Ancient Healing Services in May is this Wednesday, May 8th at 7 PM.
  • On Pentecost Sunday, May 19th, the price of the large 6-day candles will be raised from $5 to $10 each. We light them for our prayer intentions whether it’s for deceased member(s) or for a special intention or in thanksgiving for God’s hearing our past petitions. These are the same reasons that a request for a Divine Liturgy is made. A stipend for the Divine Liturgy is $10 so starting on May 19 the candles will be the same price as a Divine Liturgy stipend.

Food Pantry
Our food pantry needs canned goods and other non-perishable foods, e.g. cereal, macaroni & cheese, gelatin. We now have a box at the entry of the church for any donations you can make. Let’s remember the bible story where Jesus says, “If you did it for the least of my brothers then you did it for me.”

Reminder: For those who don’t bring food to our church socials but enjoy this important fellowship time please consider putting money in the penny jar so we can continue to provide refreshments.
