Appeals
Thank you for those who donated the sum of $170 so far to the Catholic Home Missions! There will be a 2nd collection today and next Sunday. More information can be found on their website (usccb.org/hm)
Thank you to those who have supported the 2010/2011 Stewardship Appeal that ends in June. We have collected $1,124 with $276 to go. We’re at 80%. Help us to reach our parish goal of $1,400.
Blaine Ave Clean-Up #2
A 4-man altar server crew led by Austin Gilmore with 2 mothers from St. Alphonsus parish in Zionsville and Joe, Nicholas & Thomas Kupec worked on Saturday, May 21 to clean the grounds around the back of the parish’s buildings. In addition to filling a 20-yard dumpster with tree limbs, brush & old wood they pulled tree trunks and built a brick path between the garage building and St. Mary’s Hall. Mary K, Anne H and Al M prepared lunch. Please express your gratitude to all the volunteers the next time you see them.
Baking
If you can help at Thursday’s bake day please let the rectory know. Thanks to our volunteers last week: Judy E, Richard M, Olga V, Danny E, Al Z, Carol L & John. We made 10 flavors of rolls, pumpkin logs & pizzelles. We have requests for biscotti, kolachy and we will also make more rolls & pizzelles.
