Announcements
Parish News
Father Innocenti Rossi has moved to Chicago. A replacement pastor has not been assigned by Bishop John Kudrick yet. Sunday morning Divine Liturgies will continue in the interim. A Saturday vigil Divine Liturgy will be scheduled if there is sufficient interest. More details will be disseminated as they become available. Thanks for everyone’s patience. We wish all the best for Fr. Rossi as he embarks on his next ministry.
Remember the Loidolt family as they grieve for their loss of Melvin Loidolt. Melvin died in MN following a joyful family reunion. May God grant his servant, Melvin Joseph Loidolt, blessed repose & eternal memory.
Events Calendar
- Today we are having a brunch in St. Mary’s Hall following Divine Liturgy. Please come help us celebrate the important roles that fathers have in our lives. May God grant all living fathers peace, health & happiness for many blessed years. May God grant to all deceased fathers eternal memory.
- There is a free Byzantine Iconography Lecture Series, featuring Dr. George Kordis Iconographer from Greece, on Mondays for the next 2 weeks. Where: Indianapolis Art Center at 820 E. 67th St. Indianapolis, IN 46220, just east of College Ave. in Broad Ripple. There were seven parishioners at last Monday’s talk. It was very informative and we’re looking forward to this week’s lecture on egg tempera.
- Later in the month on Monday, June 24 there is a solemn holy day for the Birth of John the Baptist. Then at the end of the same week on Saturday, June 29 we celebrate the feast of Saints Peter and Paul. This is a holy day of obligation. As soon as we have Liturgy scheduled we will let you know.
Stewardship Appeal
The deadline for the stewardship appeal is June 30. We’re $345 away from the parish goal of $1,400. If you don’t have the pledge forms just note on your check or envelope that the donation is for the 2012-2013 Stewardship Appeal. Thank you for your generosity in helping Bishop John Kudrick and the members of the chancery with their important work.
