Events Calendar
- St. Nicholas of Myra celebration is today following the Sunday Divine Liturgy. St. Nicholas, the Miracle Worker, is the patron of the Byzantine Catholic Church. His solemn feast day is Tuesday, December 6. A vigil Divine Liturgy is being celebrated on Monday evening at 6 PM.
- The Patristics Theology class is Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
- The solemn feast of the Maternity of the Holy Anna is Wednesday, December 8. This is the conception of Mary, the Theotokos.
- There are 2 work days scheduled this month. They are the next 2 Saturdays, December 10th and 17th. We will board-up windows in the school building, and decorate the church for Christmas. Please plan to attend one if not both of these Saturdays. There’s lots to do and your participation will really help.
- The next Ancient Healing Service is Wednesday, December 14 at 7 PM.
Catholics Come Home
Starting December 16, CatholicsComeHome.org will begin airing Catholic TV ads nationwide, inviting relatives, friends, and others to return home to the Catholic Church. Help to usher in the largest family reunion in Church history! Pray, spread the word and encourage others to attend church. Welcome them home.
Second Collection
Bishop John has requested that each parish take a special collection throughout the month of December for the Retirement Fund for Religious. Ninety-three percent of every donation to the National Religious Retirement Office aids senior religious. The Sisters of St. Basil on Mount Macrina have been recipients from this fund. Thank you for your generosity.
