After our pitch-in brunch following Divine Liturgy we had 10 people making pysanky (Easter eggs.) Although the kistkas weren’t available (couldn’t find the container with some of the pysanky supplies) we made our decorations with small nail heads in the eraser of pencils. This picture shows a sampling of the eggs completed. Many other pysanky had already gone home with their creators before the camera came out. Thanks to all who participated.
The supplies will continue to be available in St. Mary’s Hall through Wednesday so come on by to create your own masterpiece.
Remember to plan on volunteering to bake pascha bread, potica rolls, and kolachy this Thursday, March 29th from 9 AM until, well, until we’re finished!
