DESCRIPTION:Life Transfigured by the Light of the East\n\n\n\n\nJoin families from across the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Parma for a week of faith-focused\, family-friendly fun! This year’s camp programming is inspired by Orientale Lumen\, Pope St. John Paul II’s Apostolic Letter on the Eastern Churches\, as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of its publication.\n\nBasic Information\nWhen: Sunday\, August 3rd (4 PM) through Friday\, August 8th (10 AM)\, 2025\nWhere: Cedar Lake Ministries in Cedar Lakes\, Indiana\, near Chicago\nWhat: Daily community prayer\, including the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord\, and opportunities for confession.  Mornings will feature programming stratified by age\, including babysitting available for infants and toddlers. Details are TBD but will relate to this year’s theme. Afternoons will be mostly free\, allowing time for sports\, games\, swimming\, naps\, and socializing.  After dinner\, we’ll gather around the campfire and/or spend time in the rec room playing games and end the day with Compline.\nPrice:\n\n\n$250 per adult (18+)\n$60 per child (4-17)\nFREE for children ages 3 & under\nAdditional fee for lodging upgrades\n\n\nLodging: Registration fee includes basic Bunkhouse lodging\, with private rooms and shared bathrooms. There is limited space in the Bunkhouse which will be assigned on a first-come\, first-served basis.  Available upgrades are: Cabin With Kitchen (+$500/room)\, Cabin With No Kitchen (+$300/room)\, and Hotel-Style Room (+$200/room).  The adjacent RV Park is also an option\, please contact familycamp@parma.org if you are interested in this option before registering.\nFood: All meals are included in the price of registration.
