Thank you

Father Christiaan Kappes is our celebrant today. We appreciate Fr. Kappes celebrating the Divine Liturgy with us while Fr. Rossi is out of town. May God grant Fr. Kappes many happy and blessed years!

Also thanks to all those who help around the church: the servers and singers at liturgy, those who bring flowers to beautify our worship space, those who keep things tidy in and around all the buildings. Thanks to those who help with promotion of the parish and fund raising. Thanks to those who maintain or repair appliances, furniture, etc. Thanks to anyone who prays for the parish and uses our parish prayer frequently. May God grant to our benefactors who donate their time, talent and treasure peace, health and long life.

Events Calendar

  • We’re still polling to see how many people are interested in a bible study class. Please call or email the rectory, what day & time works for you.
  • The next Ancient Healing Service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 at 7 PM.
  • Later in the month on Monday, June 24 there is a solemn holy day for the Birth of John the Baptist. Then at the end of the same week on Saturday, June 29 we celebrate the feast of Saints Peter and Paul. This is a holy day of obligation. As soon as we have Liturgy scheduled we will let you know.

Stewardship Appeal

With two more payments last week we have collected $1,055 or 72% of the $1,400 parish goal. The appeal ends at the end of the month, June 30. If you don’t have the pledge forms just note on your check or envelope that the donation is for the 2012-2013 Stewardship Appeal.

Parish Garden

In the 15’x50’ garden behind the church there are tomato, pepper and onion plants growing and lots of weeds! Two tomatoes were already harvested in the last few days. We could use your help planting more vegetables and flowers and weeding. Thanks.
