Welcome Father Innocenti Rossi

We welcome our new priest, Father Innocenti Rossi, to his new parish – St. Athanasius the Great. Previously Father Rossi has been sheparding the St. George parish in Bay City, MI. We wish him the best in continuing our parish’s growth in the Byzantine Catholic faith. Many blessed years! Mnohaja, Blahaja l’ita!

Events Calendar

  • Monday, October 1 is the solemn feast day of the Protection of the Theotokos. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 6 p.m. on October 1 by Fr. Innocenti Rossi and Fr. Michael Evanick.
  • The next ancient Healing Service is Wednesday, October 10th at 7 p.m. Spread the word.
  • Annual Eparchy of Parma Women’s Retreat will be October 19-21. The theme is Set the World Ablaze. It is being held at Loyola Retreat House in Clinton, Ohio. Information is in St. Mary’s Hall.
  • The Indiana Catholic Men’s Conference is scheduled for October 20. For more information visit or call 317-888-0873.

2012 – 2013 Stewardship Appeal

This year’s theme is “Preparing for Assembly.” Our parish’s goal is $1,400 – the same as last year. The money supports many vital eparchial programs. If you have not received a mailing from the eparchy please contact the rectory so we can supply you with the pledge paperwork. Thank you for your generosity.

Fund Raising

There are many scrip cards for purchase. Come take a look at the selection and buy a few for your routine expenses like department stores, pizza, restaurants, etc.  We have many good books in St. Mary’s Hall too. The pumpkin logs are in stock with many other bake goods. Buy some for the family and loved ones as gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations, holidays, etc.

October Birthdays: Nadir Suvak Rashid, Al Macek, Rita O’Brian, and Michael Miller. God grant each of them a blessed birthday and many happy years!
