Events Calendar

  • Memorial Day falls on Pentecost Monday this year. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 9 am on Monday, May 28th. Since most everyone will have the day off for the national holiday we ask that you start your day by praising God at our church next Monday.
  • The Patristics Theology adult education class resumes Tuesday nights 6:30-8:30 starting June 12th.
  • ByzanTEEN Mission Trip – The Eparchy of Parma is partnering with YouthWorks to sponsor a mission trip to Logan County, West Virginia for those ages 13-18. The trip will start on Saturday, July 28 at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Parma, OH and return there on Sunday August 5, 2012. Download application materials at Serve our Lord thru serving others.

Other Collections

Bishop John Kudrick has directed that a special collection for Catholic Home Missions be taken during all May Liturgies. The appeal funds a wide range of pastoral services. This is the final Sunday.

The rectory heating system is in need of repair before the fall season. We need your help through prayers, donations, and fund raising labor to have the work done in the summer months. We can use your help with baking and marketing. Don’t be shy. We have mentors who will help you learn these skills. Thank you.

2011/2012 Stewardship Appeal

Thanks to those who pledged to this year’s appeal. We’ve collected $1,403 of the $1,598 pledged. The 2011/2012 Stewardship Appeal, “Together, building God’s Kingdom” is coming quickly to a close. All payments on pledges for this year’s appeal must be received by the chancery by June 20, 2012. You can make a payment online at or mail it. Thank you for your support of eparchial programming.
