Events Calendar

  • The second of two Ancient Healing Services this month will be celebrated this Wednesday, May 23 at 7 pm. Come experience God’s healing power for your spirit, mind and body. We continue to pray for those whose names & petitions were collected at the May 9th healing service.
  • The 5th All Souls Saturday divine liturgy is this week at 9 am. You are urged to come and participate in the remembrance of those in your family who’ve died. If you have names to be added to the All Souls list please contact the rectory by Thursday.
  • Memorial Day falls on Pentecost Monday this year. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 9 am on Monday, May 28th. Since most everyone will have the day off for the national holiday we ask that you start your day by praising God at our church next Monday.
  • ByzanTEEN Mission Trip – The Eparchy of Parma is partnering with YouthWorks to sponsor a mission trip to Logan County, West Virginia for those ages 13-18. The trip will start on Saturday, July 28 at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Parma, OH and return there on Sunday August 5, 2012. Download application materials at www.byzcathculturalcenter.org. Serve our Lord thru serving others.

Other Collections

Bishop John Kudrick has directed that a special collection for Catholic Home Missions CHM  be taken during all May liturgies. The appeal funds a wide range of pastoral services.

The rectory heating system is in need of repair before the fall season. We need your help through prayers, donations, and fund raising labor to have the work done in the summer months. We can use your help with baking and marketing. Don’t be shy. We have mentors who will help you learn these skills. Thank you.

Thank you

Thanks to those who attended the work day at the parish or staffed the farmers markets on Saturday, May 19. Thanks to those who made the delicious baked goods this past Wednesday. God grant you many years.
