Thank You

Deacon John Evancho travels more than 3 hours to help the parish celebrate our Sunday Divine Liturgies. We thank Deacon John for his faithful service in helping Fr. Sid while Fr. recovers from knee surgery. Thank you to the men that have stayed in the rectory to assist Fr. throughout the night. Thanks to the people who’ve prepared delicious meals for Fr. Sid and his guests. Fr. also greatly appreciates those that take time to visit him. God grant you and your family many happy & blessed years!

Events Calendar

  • The solemn holy day of the Exaltation of the Cross is this Wednesday. Vigil Divine Liturgy is being celebrated on Tuesday, September 13.
  • The next healing service is this Wednesday, September 14 at 7 PM.
  • The next Knights of Columbus brunch will be on Sunday, September 25.

2nd Collection

The additional collection is to pay some bills like the cleaning of the carillon, delayed payments to the eparchy, etc. Thank you for helping eliminate some old accounts payable.

9/11 Troparion

Today is the Remembrance of the Acts of Terrorism committed in 2001. Say this prayer throughout the day:

O Lord, save your people and bless your inheritance.

Grant peace to a world that is living in fear.

Extinguish hatred and put an end to all programs of terrorism

for the sake of your love for us all.
