Announcements:

2nd Collection

Update: the 2 furnaces in the church were replaced last fall and are still being paid off. Thank you to 2 people who assisted in making significant donations last year. The rectory’s boiler was repaired in early winter but needs replaced. We ask you to be generous during the 2nd collection today.  Also use your special envelopes to help offset the cost of lilies that will be decorating the church during Easter.

Workdays

There’s much to do in preparation for Easter e.g. cleaning the church (wood floors, pews, window sills, etc.) Also the city health department has required us to perform some repairs on the school building. Check the list in St. Mary’s Hall. Volunteer work days are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon and Saturday daylight hours. Come learn how to bake rolls & pascha bread on Tuesday, March 16th. We can use more pairs of hands to help each of the tasks reach completion quicker. Thanks for your assistance.

Annunciation of the Theotokos

This solemn feast day is on March 25th. When can you come on that date – morning or evening? Let the rectory know so we can try to accommodate your schedule. Meanwhile read Luke 1:26-38.

Prayer list

We’re going to start publishing the prayer list on the website, and as space allows, in the bulletin. It hasn’t been maintained for a few months so we’re asking parishioners to submit names. We pray that our merciful Lord bestow his grace, wisdom and understanding upon those in need. Thank you for everything, God.
