Announcements

Healing Service Schedule

The ancient healing service is being moved from the 2nd Wednesday to the 1st Wednesday and 3rd Wednesday of the month not the 4th as was previously published. The website now includes testimonials. Check them out and encourage others to read them. Through the grace of God your, and their, healings can be added if you attend the service this Wednesday with unwavering faith, expectation & desire.

Congratulations

Ryan Miller and Joanna Jordan entered into the Holy Mystery of Marriage on Saturday, October 23rd. May God grant the newlywed couple peace, health and happiness for many blessed years!

Men’s Conference

The Eastern Catholic Men’s Conference is November 13, 2010, at St. John the Baptist Cathedral complex in Parma, OH. Cost for adults is $30.00 and includes lunch. For further information go to www.parma.org. The deadline is November 5th so mail the form, along with registration fee, this week.

Parish Needs

Reserve this upcoming Saturday, November 6, to help your parish. Roll up you sleeves to help at the work day. See the projects listed in St. Mary’s Hall. Feel connected to other parishioners by helping everyone else out at this important communal activity. Come help with lunch if you can’t manage the more physical tasks.

The food pantry is asking for any non-perishables food, personal hygiene, and cleansers for our less fortunate brothers and sisters in Christ.

Father Sid is requesting donors to help purchase a new communion set: chalice, diskos, star, etc. He would also like to replace the white vestments used during most Sunday Divine Liturgies.

Stewardship 2010 – 2011

The annual Eparchial Stewardship Appeal is in progress. To date we have collected a small amount so we have to put more emphasis on this initiative to help support Bishop John’s important programs. If someone would like to head the promotion of the annual appeal please see Father Sid or John D.
